These delicious pancakes were a pure inspiration from needing CARBS!!!!!
The approximate MACROS for this meal:
46g CARBS
8g FAT
13g PROTEIN
INGREDIENTS
For Pancakes
- 35g Gluten Free Kodiak Cakes Pancake & Waffle Mix
- 3 TBSP Muscle Egg Vanilla Egg Whites (or regular egg whites)
- 4 TBSP Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1 TSP Ground Cinnamon (this will seem like ALOT of cinnamon....but I love cinnamon. So you can do 1/2 tsp to start if you want)
- 1/2 TSP Butter Extract
- 1/2 TSP Vanilla Extract
For Icing
- 1 TBSP Challenge Cream Cheese, softened
- 3 TBSP Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
- 1/2 TSP Butter Extract
Topping/Filling
- 2 OZ Banana, Sliced (OPTIONAL)
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, whisk all pancake ingredients until lump free. Using a non-stick pan pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Makes 2 pancakes.
While pancakes are cooking whisk icing ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Once pancakes are cooked on both sides set on a plate. You can put banana between the layers and on top. Pour the icing over the pancakes.
