Cinnamon Roll Pancakes with Maple Butter Cream Cheese Icing





These delicious pancakes were a pure inspiration from needing CARBS!!!!!

The approximate MACROS for this meal:

46g CARBS
8g FAT
13g PROTEIN



INGREDIENTS

For Pancakes

  • 35g Gluten Free Kodiak Cakes Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 3 TBSP Muscle Egg Vanilla Egg Whites (or regular egg whites)
  • 4 TBSP Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1 TSP Ground Cinnamon (this will seem like ALOT of cinnamon....but I love cinnamon. So you can do 1/2 tsp to start if you want)
  • 1/2 TSP Butter Extract
  • 1/2 TSP Vanilla Extract


For Icing

  • 1 TBSP Challenge Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3 TBSP Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
  • 1/2 TSP Butter Extract


Topping/Filling

  • 2 OZ Banana, Sliced (OPTIONAL)

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, whisk all pancake ingredients until lump free. Using a non-stick pan pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Makes 2 pancakes.
While pancakes are cooking whisk icing ingredients in a bowl and set aside. 

Once pancakes are cooked on both sides set on a plate. You can put banana between the layers and on top. Pour the icing over the pancakes.
